Hello! I’m Olivia, a 20-year-old university student currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Management in Melbourne. Originally from South Australia, I moved to Melbourne last year to complete my university studies at the University of Melbourne. Family is at the core of my values, being one of three girls in a big, loving family. I've always found immense joy in contributing to children's development, witnessing them grow into amazing individuals. It's truly rewarding! Creating a safe and stimulating environment is my passion, and I'm committed to providing the best care possible for your little ones, catering to various age groups. From confidently handling nappy changes and nap times with extensive experience looking after an 14-month-old little girl, 3 year old and 5 year old girl as well as taking care of my cousins from ages 6-10 and 8-12, my experience is diverse. After-school pickups, homework sessions, dinner prep, and bedtime routines are all in a day's work for me! When it comes to fun activities, I'm enthusiastic about engaging children both at home and outdoors. Whether it's outdoor sports, reading, or arts and crafts, I enjoy creating stimulating environments for children. My approach prioritises safety and follows parental guidelines while ensuring kids have a good time. Being born and raised in Croatia for the first 5 years of my life has instilled in me a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and adaptability. Living in a foreign country has honed my communication skills, making me adept at connecting with families from various backgrounds. This experience has also cultivated resilience, independence, and a global perspective, which I bring to my babysitting roles, ensuring a well-rounded and understanding approach to childcare. My rate is $30-$35 an hour, depending on the number of children and their ages, I am excited to become a part of your family's journey and I am committed to providing the best care for your children.
