Meet Gilda: A nanny and babysitter in Essendon, VIC

Hello!

My name is Gilda. I’m from Chile, but I’ve been living in Melbourne on a working holiday for the past two months. I am a school psychologist currently on a break from working at a primary school in Chile, which has given me experience with children aged 6 months to 14 years old.

In general, my motto is: when you put yourself in the position of a child in an adult-centered world, it’s easy to understand and relate to them.

I also have experience with special needs, as I work with children who have ASD, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and developmental delays. Additionally, I have experience with mental health diagnoses, so I could help as a support worker.
