My name is Tanya, and I’m originally from Thailand. I moved to New Zealand in 2000 and began babysitting at 18. In 2007, I worked in hospitality on Hamilton Island while also babysitting on the side for extra cash. In 2009, I relocated to Melbourne to continue my career in hospitality, but soon decided to pursue a career change, driven by my passion for working with children as an early childhood educator.

Children’s innocence and joy brighten my day and bring me happiness, which led me to pursue a career in early childhood education. Over the years, I’ve worked as a lead educator in private, community, and council early learning centres, gaining valuable experience. Currently, I work as a casual early childhood educator around Melbourne and as a casual babysitter / home educator.
