Meet Subin: A nanny and babysitter in Bayswater, VIC

Hi:) Nice to meet you. My name is Subin Ko. And I’m from South Korea. I’m 25 years old. I arrived in Australia 9 May 2024. I am a kind and responsible individual with a deep love for children. I have worked as a nanny in Australia for six months, taking care of a 5-year-old boy, a 3.5-year-old boy, a 1.5-year-old girl, and an 8-month-old girl. If necessary, I can provide parents' references.

I double majored in Social Welfare and Business Administration in Korea, graduating early with excellent academic performance. While in university, I taught children for a year and actively participated in volunteer work and support programs related to children. Additionally, I currently hold a First Aid certification, CPR certification, Police Check, WWC, and an ABN.

I have a strong passion for children and value the experiences shared with them. I also place great importance on communication with parents during my work. I still maintain regular contact with the family I previously worked for (and continue to work with casually).

I have greatly enjoyed my time living in Melbourne and have a strong desire to stay in Australia for another year. Currently, I am in Tasmania to apply for a second-year visa and will return to Melbourne next weekend (April 13).
