Meet Ishbel: A nanny and babysitter in Bokarina, QLD

Hello! My name is Ishbel, and I'm excited to transition into babysitting after several years working in commercial real estate. Recently, I took some time off to travel across Europe, and I'm now looking for a career shift into something more fulfilling and relaxed. Babysitting feels like the perfect fit, as I truly enjoy spending time with children and have a natural connection with them.

Throughout university, I worked as a nanny for a family with two children, aged 9 and 12, for three years, where I assisted with school pickups, homework, and general care. I also provided holiday care for two younger children, ages 6 and 8. In addition, I’ve spent a lot of time with friends who have young children, including babies and toddlers, so I’m comfortable with kids of all ages. My experience in the corporate world has helped me develop excellent organisational skills, allowing me to manage multiple tasks efficiently, whether it’s coordinating schedules or planning activities for the kids.

I'm a warm, responsible, and reliable caregiver who loves to cook and create fun, engaging activities for children. I truly enjoy getting to know each child’s unique personality and needs and am always happy to help with anything from playtime to meal prep to bedtime routines.
