Meet Mel: A babysitter in Blaxland, NSW

As a mature aged lady I have a wealth of experience with children. I love spending time with children and getting to know them. As an educator I tend to find myself teaching children bits and pieces out of what I have learnt over the years. My favourite subjects at school were Mathematics, Food Technology, Exploring Early Childhood, Music, and Science. I love taking children into the community, whether it be to the local park, playgroup, mother's group, church group, library, beach, cafe, or a ride on a train. I have experience with children 4 months to 10 years of age. Children with various additional needs have been in my care. I have cared for children with Autism, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, various allergies, anxiety, Down Syndrome, ADHD and Type 1 Diabetes. I have also had experience caring for people who use wheel chairs.
