Meet Annie: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in St Kilda, VIC

Hi my name is Annie and I’m an experienced nanny and carer. I am a warm, bubbly and loving person. I am passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential. I have years of experience as a nanny, babysitter, carer and working for a child minder.

I have a large family and have enjoyed looking after my younger siblings. I love children and enjoy being around them and supporting them to learn and grow. I have a degree in psychology, a certificate in counselling skills, and a NVQ level 2 in health and social care.

I was a reliable nanny for 3 energetic children (ages 2, 5 & 7). I would look after them on a regular basis and provide all forms of care from activities, meals, and bedtime routines. I have also nannied and babysat for multiple families on a more casual basis. I have experience working as a childminding assistant at Abbey Mill Child Care in Morpeth for a year (references available). I looked after children from 1 to 12 years old. Here I would do school runs, make meals, help with homework, and entertain several children at a time.

Additionally, I have over three years experience working full time at Orbis support, caring for individuals with disabilities and learning difficulties. I have looked after a range of individuals with a range of special needs and additional requirements. The main gentleman I look after has autism, a severe learning difficulty, epilepsy and is non verbal. He can also display challenging behaviour which I am trained in diffusing. At his house I do long day shifts, sleep overs and night shifts. I give all aspects of care to the individual, supporting him to live independently and access the community.
