Meet Lara: A nanny and babysitter in Carina Heights, QLD

Hi there! I’m Lara, a 22-year-old student studying a fashion degree online. With a super flexible schedule and a passion for providing a fun & creative environment. Although I’m new to babysitting, I’m eager to learn and gain experience. Originally from Northern QLD, Yeppoon, I come from a great home and have been raised with strong values. With an open driver’s license and my own Volvo XC40, transportation is no issue.

My friend groups have always called me the mother of the group, and I pride myself on being laid back, honest, and trustworthy. Currently living in Carina Heights with my partner who works as a professional photographer / videographer. I’m super creative and also do work as a freelance photgrapher (mainly fashion photography).

I’m highly professional, tidy, and competent. Having lived independently for almost four years, I’m proficient in housekeeping and multitasking. I prioritize cleanliness and am more than capable of preparing well-balanced, nutritious meals for the kids—I grew up with a nurse as a mum, so healthy eating is second nature to me.

I’m more than happy to do a trial day to see if we’re the right fit. Additionally, I can assist with homework, provide support and guidance where needed, and even provide a police check and working with children check upon request. I’m also willing to gain a first aid certification if needed.

I own a 4 year-old Cavoodle named Alfie, who has been my little companion since I moved to Brisbane. So, if you have any pets, I am more than capable of feeding, cleaning, and walking them!

Though I may be new to babysitting, my laid-back nature, honesty, and trustworthiness make me a reliable caregiver. I’m excited to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family!
