Meet Citlali: A nanny and babysitter in Mosman, NSW

I have over 20 years of experience working closely with children, young adults, adults, and elderly individuals in private settings, delivering personalized care and support. Additionally, I have extensive experience in providing direct care for children and people with special and complex needs. I am a reliable, hands-on, people-oriented professional who is passionate about promoting the development and well-being of others.

My childcare journey began at the age of 18 in Mexico and continued when I moved to Sydney, Australia, in 2008. Over the years, I have cared for children aged between 2 weeks and 16 years, creating fun, engaging, and challenging environments for their growth. From 2008 to 2012, I worked as an Au Pair for a large family in the Eastern Suburbs, caring for three girls, one boy, and their beloved dog. When the children grew older, I joined another wonderful family in Mosman from 2012 to 2016, looking after a girl and a boy, as well as their gorgeous groodle dog.

During this time, I also provided care during the day, evenings, weekends, and school holidays for various families in the Eastern Suburbs, Mosman, and Lower North Shore. Working closely with parents, I supported their children in developing strategies to improve well-being, enhance quality of life, and address challenging behaviours. Alongside my childcare experience, I have worked as an Early Childhood Educator.

Currently, I work as a casual babysitter with families across Mosman and the Lower North Shore. I also serve as a Disability, Aged Care, Support, and Social Worker, a role I have been dedicated to since 2000, assisting children, young adults, and adults with special and complex needs. I guide children and young people in developing life skills, preparing them to become self-sufficient and independent, while fostering confidence to manage their routines independently. In addition, I can assist with household duties such as cooking, decluttering, and general management, as well as pet care—including walking, playing, and bathing.

My goal is to collaborate with families to meet the needs of both parents and children in a professional childcare environment while fulfilling the targets set by the family through teamwork and mutual commitment. I aim to ensure your family enjoys healthy meals and engaging, educational activities to stimulate growth. I can also manage your household efficiently, including shopping, pet care, and other organisational tasks. My availability includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and full days during school holidays.

I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability Specialisation), a Certificate IV in Ageing Support, and degrees in IT and Business (Marketing & Management Specialisation). I am currently pursuing additional Diplomas in Aged Care and Mental Health.

Additionally, I am a professional house and pet sitter with extensive experience caring for plants, dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits.....
