Meet Citlali: A nanny and babysitter in Mosman, NSW

I have over 20 years' experience working closely with children, young adults, adults and elderly in private settings delivering personalised care and support, as well as direct care and support of children and people with special and complex needs. I am a dynamic and practical hands-on, reliable, people-oriented, passionate about promoting the development and well-being of people.

I have been caring for children since I was 18, first in Mexico and since 2008 in Australia (Sydney). I have spent many of my holidays, weeks and weekends caring for children aged between 2 weeks and 16 years. I know how to be fun, energetic and challenging. I worked as an Au Pair with a large family in the Eastern Suburbs for four years (2008-2012). I cared for three girls, one boy and their lovely dog ​​from the age of 9, 8, 6 and 5. The children grew up and it was time to look for a new family.

I lived with another fantastic family in Mosman for 4 years (2012-2016). I looked after one girl and one boy since they were 5 and 7 years old and their gorgeous groodle dog.

At the same time, I looked after children during the day, evenings, weekends and school holidays with different families around Eastern suburbs, Mosman and Lower North Shore during my free time.

I work as a team, collaborating with parents to support their children in developing strategies to improve their well-being, their quality of life and minimise behaviours that may worry you. Besides, I have experience working as an Early Childcare Educator.

At the present, I work as a casual babysitter with different families around Mosman and Lower North Shore suburbs. as well as Disability, Aged Care, Support and Social Worker since 2000 with children, young adults and adults with people with special and complex needs. I help children and young people to learn and practice living skills to prepare them to be eventually self-sufficient and independent. Also, I teach them to have the confidence to organise their routines without having to involve other members of their family. I can assist you with household duties like cooking, decluttering and general household management. As well as help with your pets. I can walk them, play with them and bathe them.

My goal is to work with a family to help to meet all the parents and children's needs in a professional childcare environment and fulfilling the targets set by the family through teamwork and mutual commitment. I could also manage your household efficiently and keep it organised. This can include weekly shopping, walking, playing and feeding your pets as other jobs around your house.

I will make sure your family is eating healthy meals and undertaking plenty of educational and fun activities to stimulate them. I might also be taking care of all the domestic chores related to your children, to make your children learn to follow the house rules. I am available to work some mornings, afternoons and evenings. as well as weekends. I could be available full days in school holidays. Working references available upon request.

I have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, a Certificate III in Individual support (Ageing and Disability Specialisation), a Degree in IT and a second degree in Business (Marketing & Management Specialisation). I am currently studying a couple of diplomas in aged care and mental health.

Besides, I am a professional House and Pet sitter with great experience with plants, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits....
