Meet Ellie: A nanny in Bondi, NSW

My name is Ellie and I am a professional nanny with a passion for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children. I am patient, compassionate, hardworking and reliable. I thrive on ensuring the children I look after are happy, safe and active by encouraging imagination and building confidence. I am now looking for a new role where I can build on my experience in Sydney. I have worked in childcare for 10 years now. I love forming bonds with children and helping them to develop and supporting their early and childhood development. I studied for my level 3 childcare qualification whilst working in a daycare setting and worked there for 3 years. I then became a nanny to twin girls at the age of 2 months. I was the sole carer for girls as their parents both worked on the airlines and were often away flying. This meant I would stay overnight and do the bedtime routine. I implemented a good daily routine to support with their development and growth, and enjoyed taking the girls out. I would also prepare healthy nutritious meals and snacks for the children. Up until I left for Australia I was still caring for them alongside another family with 2 young children who were siblings. A girl aged 3 and her little brother aged 1. I believe in forming strong connections with both children and parents, ensuring a positive and communicative relationship. My goal is to contribute to the wellbeing and development of little ones. Warm, responsible, and dedicated to fostering a safe and loving atmosphere. I am really passionate about keeping fit and I love trying new gym classes and going for runs. Healthy eating is important to me and I am also looking forward to finding nice coffee shops in Australia, being outdoors and going to the beach.
