Meet Mafalda: A nanny and babysitter in Mermaid Beach, QLD

Hi, I’m Mafalda! I’m a 25 yo lawyer from Portugal and just arrived in Australia with my best friend, Luisa, also lawyer, for a year of new experiences!

I’m working as a recepcionist in a hotel (ULTIQA), three days a week now and looking for a good way to spend my free time.

I have 16 cousins, most of them younger than me, and since I can remember I always had a little maternal instinct towards them 😊

For many years I would take care of them after school or weekend nights, whenever their oarents were out for dinner!

Also, while studying law, and to earn extra money (for vacation mostly 🤭), I worked in events such as weddings looking after guests children, and playing with them!

I really love kids, and so for me babysitting is much more a hobbie than a job.
