Busy, welcoming, professional family seeking a nanny for sole charge nanny position in leafy Tarragindi. The role involves the care of delightful 4yr old boy/girl twins during the day Wednesday through Friday (8am-6pm), plus after school care of a 6 yr old girl. The twins are a happy little pair with unique personalities - enjoy playing together, drawing, swimming, music, dance and exploring nature. Our older 6yr old girl loves playing with her siblings, reading, writing, lego, drawing and animals of all sorts. We live in a quiet street in Tarragindi in a lovely renovated Queenslander, walking distance to Miss 6's school.

We are seeking an energetic and caring nanny for this position. Applicants must love kids and have some nannying or au pair experience and recent references from past families. You must be capable at looking after multiple children at once, including transporting children on foot and by car (vehicle provided). You must also be happy to contribute to the general running of the household and related tasks. Ideal candidate would have good communication skills and initiative, be punctual, organised, tidy, and enjoy cooking! Applicants must have current CV with recent references x 2, an open drivers licence, blue card/working with children check, police check and recent first aid certification.

Role to commence mid-January 2025 (start date negotiable)

Rate of pay $30+ (negotiable depending on experience) + entitlements (super, annual leave etc).

Days : Wed/Thu/Fri

Hours 0800-1800 each day.

You will be required to work during some school holidays.

Role involves;

- daytime care of 4yr old boy/girl twins 0800-1800hrs

- school pick up of 6yr old girl and after school care

Other duties include but not limited to :

-transport twins to and from local activities during the day (eg swimming, dance lessons)

-prepare daytime meals and snacks for twins

-provide varied daytime activities and entertainment for twins

- pick up and/or transport 6yr old home or to after school activities

- meal prep for family evening meal

- dishes, keeping kitchen clean and tidy

- washing/folding/ironing

- tidying and housekeeping

- picking up groceries
