**Part-time Nanny required in Randwick**

Afternoons and/or morning

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and caring nanny to help look after our 2 youngest children after school (6 and 3 years old), for 15-16 hours per week. We have an 8 year old with autism who has his own 1:1 support worker on certain days in the afternoon/evening. One parent will also be at home during these hours.

The core hours will be afternoon/evening Monday to Thursday, 4.30-8.30pm. Times could change slightly depending on after school activities.

We are a professional couple looking for someone who is caring, fun, organised, responsible and calm, to help us with the care of our children.

Applicant must be comfortable engaging with 2 children at a time. Must be able to assist with management of a busy household after school.

Caring for our children is the priority. Responsibilities include engaging in some pre dinner fun/games, bath, helping the younger children at meal time, putting them to bed, tidying up toys at the end of the evening.

We prefer someone who can commit long term for greater than 6 months.

We are looking for either the same or an additional person to help our 8 year old son get ready for school each morning (Monday-Friday). The hours for this role are approximately 7am-9:30am. This role requires a calm, caring and understanding person to talk him through the morning routine. The key tasks he must achieve are waking, eating breakfast, getting dressed, brushing teeth, putting on sunscreen, and walking him to school. He is able to perform these tasks himself however needs some encouragement.

All applicants must possess:

- A working with children check

- Up to date vaccinations for looking after children or be willing to have catch up vaccinations (including covid, influenza, whooping cough, measles/ MMR and other routine vaccinations)

- Previous nanny or professional childcare experience with references

- Experience looking after 2 children

Rate of pay: $33-$36.50 (rate negotiable depending on experience)

Hours available:

15-16 hours per week for afternoons;

12.5 hours per week for mornings.

27.5-28.5 hours per week combined.
