My name is Tahias, and I have been working as an educator in childcare for one year. During this time, I have had the privilege of nurturing and supporting the growth and development of young children in an early childhood centre, specifically in a Nido and Eden (infant/toddler) classroom. My passion for early childhood education drives me to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

I am a very experienced child carer of many years. I am a mother of 4+1 children who are all adults now. I enjoy the daily challenges of helping children to learn & grow in their daily lives. Enjoy reading, homework help, singing, walks, water play, play-grounds/parks and picnics when the weather is good. Cooking in the kitchen is always a plus when helping children discover their hidden talents or preparing them a lovely meal. I enjoy music & dance & enjoy helping children develop their creative side. First aid & CPR, PCC, WWCC. Certificate lll community services & certificate ll kitchen operations. I have previously worked in child protection, private nanny work with 4 families & support work will disabled children.

I currently work at an OSHC at a primary school, where I care for and supervise children aged 4-12. I love working with kids and bring a bubbly, fun, and confident energy to everything I do. Alongside my experience, I hold the necessary qualifications and also coach a water polo team, further strengthening my ability to balance fun with structure. My boyfriend’s 2-year-old brother adores playing with me, and I’ve found I can easily connect with younger and older children alike. I believe in creating a playful, engaging environment while ensuring clear rules are followed to keep everyone happy and safe.
