I am married with 2 grown up children, a daughter aged 26 and a son aged 24. I manage the uniform shop at Brighton Primary School, which I have been doing for 8 years and I love, but I only work about 15 hours a week, and don’t work during the school holidays hence I'm looking for some extra work. I’ve taught swimming for many years up until about 20 years ago. I’ve also done babysitting from teenage years throughout my life and often still do. I’ve always loved being around children and believe I have a strong affinity with them.

All the way back in year 10, I started tutoring kids in English as a part time job. I am capable of looking after small groups of children and helping with school work, but the best reflection of my abilities is how I take care of my own brother and his friends. I have a younger brother, whom I absolutely adore, and it was spending time with him that encouraged me to try babysitting as well. I can cook, tell stories, and yes, I will let them beat me in a game of Unstable Unicorns. I am also currently studying Law and Literature at Monash.
