Hi, I'm Eve, I'm 21 years old and grew up in Ballarat with 3 siblings (2 older, one younger) so I know the work it takes to care for a large family and a busy one. I moved to Melbourne when I began university at La Trobe, I'm studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Bachelor of Media and Communications (and loving every second of it). Since I was 14 I have worked as a babysitter caring for children ranging from newborns to early high school-aged children. Tasks that I undertook during this time were: changing nappies, bottle feedings, learning stimulated play (eg. tummy time for newborns, arts & crafts to engage fine motor movements and imaginary play), assisting with homework (eg. reading books with young children & helping older ages with tasks set by teachers) and home keeping tasks (cooking and cleaning).
