Part-Time Nanny – Windsor (Hawkesbury Area) | $35–$45/hr
We are a family based in the Hawkesbury area seeking a reliable, experienced nanny to care for our 21-month-old son, with a second baby due in June.
This role focuses on actively engaging our toddler in structured, age-appropriate activities that support his development. This includes planning and guiding activities such as reading, creative play, outings (e.g. library visits), and preparing simple meals.
We are a low screen-time household and are looking for someone warm, engaging, and genuinely enjoys working with young children. We value initiative and are seeking a nanny who can confidently plan and lead the day independently, bringing ideas and creating a varied, enriching routine.
Role Responsibilities:
- Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities
- Structuring the day with a balance of play, learning, and outings
- Preparing meals and snacks for the child
- Outings such as walks and library visits
- Child-related household tasks only (tidying play areas, bottles/dishes used during the day, and occasional children’s laundry if time permits)
- Occasional support with a newborn from June (initially alongside a parent)
- Bringing your own ideas, activities, and materials (e.g. books, crafts, or play-based resources) to create a varied and engaging day
Hours:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays (minimum 6 hours per day)
- Additional days to be added from June as the role expands
- This is intended to be a stable, ongoing position
About You:
- Experienced nanny or background in early childhood/education
- Confident, organised, and able to take initiative
- Able to independently plan and structure engaging days for a toddler
- Warm, reliable, and communicative
Pay:
$35–$45 per hour depending on experience and responsibilities.
Top rates are offered to candidates who can confidently take full ownership of the child’s day, including planning engaging activities and bringing their own materials and resources to enrich the child’s development.
We are a respectful and supportive household looking to build a positive, long-term working relationship with the right person.
