I’m looking for someone to join my team as a support worker for a beautiful 10 year old boy with Norries Disease who is blind and has autism and an intellectual disability. Mainly looking for Sundays 3pm-8pm and school holidays with the possibility of increasing to a week night in the future as well. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role. Hi, we're a young couple with a 6 month old who will be starting Daycare in May. We both work and have to leave for our jobs early in the morning. Looking for someone just for an hour in the mornings to look after our baby and walk her yo daycare which is just down the road ~ 8 min walk. Daycare starts at 7.30am. So will need help from 6.30-7.30am. 1 hr x 3 days a week. Prefer that she is walked to daycare and not driven.

Must drive and have own car as it would involve taking him to and from school. I would pay petrol costs. Given he is eligible for funding the person must have an early child care qualification eg cert 3 in early childcare or currently studying it. If you do not hold this or working towards it I can’t hire you as funding criteria is strict about that. It should be relatively easy. He would be dressed and had breakfast before you arrive. It would involved playing with him, in the morning for a bit, then take him to school. Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would also love to have someone who can stay a few hours while the children are at school to help with general household tasks related to the kids (ie - meal prep, laundry, baking of school snacks, etc).
Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities. We will provide the car for transport and most activities are about a 10 min drive from our home. When home from activities we'll need help getting them showered and some dinner prep.

We are a family of four, looking for an experienced infant nanny for TWO weekdays (can be flexible which days) per week of care for our baby daughter. She will be approximately six months old at the time of commencement in mid May 2025 - to support mother's return to work. Our eldest daughter is five years old and attends a local primary school - pick up from school by nanny not essential but would be helpful to have as a back up. Both days involve school drop and pick up and then caring for my two youngest. On Tuesdays there is also basketball after school.
We would love someone who is creative and loves doing activities with the children (including getting outdoors and taking them to the park). There is light housework required (cleaning up after yourself and the children, packing and unpacking a dishwasher when needed and folding washing) and occasional admin / running around such as picking up dry cleaning or going to the post office.
