We are looking for a nanny for one day a week from around the 1st of April, for our son Zayn. He is currently 10.5 months old and will be close to one by then.
We are first time parents that are navigating our return to work and planning on sending our son to day care for three days a week, but looking to balance that out with a day at home with a Nanny (either Monday or Thursday). It will be a full day of work (7-9 hours) which will involve a typical routine for a 1 year old - meals, playtime, naps, and a milk feed or two.
In terms of other info, we live in Highett and have a groodle named Alfie. He is a really good dog and mostly tends to keep to himself. We won’t have a lot of work around the house, and are open to being flexible on that.
Also, it would be ideal for us to find someone that can take this on for atleast 6 months as we are looking for something more long term to allow Zayn to adjust into a routine and be comfortable with a carer.

We are looking for aN experienced, fun loving nanny who loves kids and gets joy from seeing them laugh, learn and grow. Ideally someone trained in early childhood and experienced in supporting the development of young ones.
The role includes preparing breakfast for kids, getting them ready for the day, dropping off and picking up our daughter from kindergarten (700m down the road) and taking care of our Son (feeding, playing, putting to sleep for nap, taking out for outings to library, park, playgroups and classes). Other duties include preparing kids meals, packing Kindergarten lunchbox, laundry, unstacking and stacking dishwasher/keeping kitchen clean and tidy, keeping lounge room and kids rooms tidy (picking up toys etc). We have a cleaner 1 x per week so no deep cleaning is required but a light vacuum of living areas once a week or so between cleans is appreciated.
If it is preferred, we have a later start on Mondays and earlier finish on Fridays. We can also aim to have you finish earlier when we can get home earlier (between 5-6pm) however flexibility is preferred.
We have a car for you to use with the kids.

My name is Natalia and I have an 8 year old son. He has autism but is high functioning. He is a beautiful sweet natured little boy and is in grade 2. He loves trains, Harry Potter and building lego. My son finds attending Oosh (before and after school care at his school) overwhelming. Therefore I have received funding for someone to come Mon, Wed and Thurs 730 to 9 am and 330 to 530 pm. Must drive and have own car as it would involve taking him to and from school. I would pay petrol costs. Given he is eligible for funding the person must has an early child care qualification inc cert 3 in early childcare or currently studying it. If you do not hold this or working towards it I can’t hire you as funding criteria is strict about that. It should be relatively easy. He would be dressed and had breakfast before you arrive. It would involved playing with him, in the morning for a bit, then take him to school where he will unpack his own bag and hand over to a teacher when the bell goes at 855. In the afternoon it would be giving him a snack (he tends to eat his leftover lunch) and he does a bit of reading. After collecting the children from school/sport, main duties would be folding washing, preparing evening meal, perhaps a bit of ironing or prepping lunchbox snacks or some local errands. Mum is a tax lawyer taking an extended career break and dad is a busy plastic surgeon. We are looking for a caring, responsible and reliable babysitter / mother’s helper to help out with our six year old high-functioning neurodiverse son on Monday and Tuesday mornings (6:45-10:45am), and the new baby when required.
The role would mainly involve supervising our son getting ready for school, making his breakfast and lunch, and helping us with tidying the kitchen (post breakfast and lunch prep) and living space, some laundry and possibly a bit of food prep / unpacking and putting away groceries (to the extent there is time). No heavy cleaning is required as we have weekly cleaners. We may need you to take the six year old to school (St Michael’s Grammar) on the train, or for you to look after the baby while mum takes him to school.
Experience with young babies required. Rate is negotiable based on experience. Would suit someone studying or looking to supplement another job.
Ideally you would be able to start at the end of April to enable our son to get used to the arrangement prior to the arrival of the new baby.

We are a family of four, looking for an experienced infant nanny for TWO weekdays (can be flexible which days) per week of care for our baby daughter. She will be approximately six months old at the time of commencement in mid May 2025 - to support mother's return to work. Our eldest daughter is five years old and attends a local primary school - pick up from school by nanny not essential but would be helpful to have as a back up. We also have an eight year old greyhound who is very placid and sleeps all day.
Hours are also somewhat flexible but need to cover at least between 8:15am and 5pm on both days. We are ideally looking for someone who can commit to the position for at least 12 months.

Caring for two boys, 5 & 7: play, dinner (ready to eat), bedtime routine (no bath, just pj's and brush teeth) etc. Very easy and mostly they play independently or do homework, you will simply keep an eye on them while hubby and I work - we will be around for any q's etc.
Ideally you will work Thursday and/or Tuesday evenings, 5 - 7:30 with no housework, or if you're willing to do light housework 3:45 - 7:15.
If you are interested in doing housework, it will be mostly: packing away toys, vacuum living/play areas, occasional laundry folding/pack, wipe down kitchen, wipe flat surfaces/mirrors, no heavy cleaning since we have a regular cleaner. But with two boys the house always gets messy.

I’m looking for someone to join my team as a support worker for a beautiful 10 year old boy with Norries Disease who is blind and has autism and an intellectual disability. Mainly looking for Sundays 3pm-8pm and school holidays with the possibility of increasing to a week night in the future as well. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role. One of our lovely sitters is moving on and we are hopeful someone can help us on a Thursday before and after school, and also Tuesday and Friday mornings. ! Our two children Thomas 8yrs old & Lilli 11yrs old attend two differing schools. You would be required to arrive at 7.30am on the mornings and assist our youngest with getting ready for school. With our spare car, an Audi A4 wagon, you will drop off Thomas to Grimwade in Elsternwick and - occasionally - Lilli to Korowa in Glen Iris and then drive back to Elsternwick to bring back the car. All done by 8:30 or so!
For Thurs afternoon - 2.45pm you will arrive at our home to use our car to pick up children, Thomas first and occasionally - the reverse order to morning drop-off.
Upon returning to our house, the following routine is typical:
-30min play/snack period
-Lilli to complete her homework
-bath or shower Thomas
- cook up dinner for the two children (I usually prep veggies and meal for you)
-This shift ends circa 6.30-7pm
-ideally kitchen and living area are both tidy when we arrive home. And that’s it!
Our two children are beautiful, cuddly and polite and Lilli can assist with Thomas. Your own car is not essential however your ability to drive is. Both my husband Mark and I work full time but we are always a text message away.
