Looking for someone just for an hour in the mornings to look after our baby and walk her yo daycare which is just down the road ~ 8 min walk. Daycare starts at 7.30am. So will need help from 6.30-7.30am. 1 hr x 3 days a week. Prefer that she is walked to daycare and not driven.

My name is Natalia and I have an 8 year old son. He has autism but is high functioning. He is a beautiful sweet natured little boy and is in grade 2. He loves trains, Harry Potter and building lego. My son finds attending Oosh (before and after school care at his school) overwhelming. Therefore I have received funding for someone to come Mon, Wed and Thurs 730 to 9 am and 330 to 530 pm. Must drive and have own car as it would involve taking him to and from school. I would pay petrol costs. Given he is eligible for funding the person must has an early child care qualification inc cert 3 in early childcare or currently studying it. If you do not hold this or working towards it I can’t hire you as funding criteria is strict about that. It should be relatively easy. He would be dressed and had breakfast before you arrive. It would involved playing with him, in the morning for a bit, then take him to school where he will unpack his own bag and hand over to a teacher when the bell goes at 855. In the afternoon it would be giving him a snack (he tends to eat his leftover lunch) and he does a bit of reading. Hello - we are a family of 5 located in Ashburton. We have three beautiful children - 9 y/o girl, 8 y/o boy and a 6 y/o boy - and are looking for a nanny to help with before and after school care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would also love to have someone who can stay a few hours while the children are at school to help with general household tasks related to the kids (ie - meal prep, laundry, baking of school snacks, etc).
Specific timing would be 7:15 am to 9:15 am and then from 3 pm to 6 pm. The additional hours to cover general tasks is flexible and we're happy to make the timing suit your schedule.
In the mornings (7:15 - 9:15 am) we are specifically looking for someone to assist with getting the kids ready for school and assist in drop off. There may be time for meal prep or after school snack prep. We are less than a 5 min walk to school so no driving required.
The afternoons (3 pm - 6 pm) will include gathering after-school snacks, assisting in school pick-up (3:30 pm), and taking the kids to activities. We will provide the car for transport and most activities are about a 10 min drive from our home. When home from activities we'll need help getting them showered and some dinner prep.

I’m looking for someone to join my team as a support worker for a beautiful 10 year old boy with Norries Disease who is blind and has autism and an intellectual disability. Mainly looking for Sundays 3pm-8pm and school holidays with the possibility of increasing to a week night in the future as well. All training and ongoing support is provided by me so no need for prior experience but this is highly regarded. You would need to have a passion for working with children and learning new skills as well as the ability to stay calm when child is dysregulated and adapt to ongoing training and feedback. Someone who is either working in or aspiring to work in behaviour support, occupational therapy, speech therapy or physio therapy would be perfect for this role as we work closely with these therapies and integrate goals into what we do with the children on a daily basis. Please note a drivers licence and access to a car is essential for the role. We are a family of four, looking for an experienced infant nanny for TWO weekdays (can be flexible which days) per week of care for our baby daughter. She will be approximately six months old at the time of commencement in mid May 2025 - to support mother's return to work. Our eldest daughter is five years old and attends a local primary school - pick up from school by nanny not essential but would be helpful to have as a back up. We also have an eight year old greyhound who is very placid and sleeps all day.
Hours are also somewhat flexible but need to cover at least between 8:15am and 5pm on both days. We are ideally looking for someone who can commit to the position for at least 12 months.

But for the right candidate there will Be a option for more babysittign afterschool etc. As i mentioned I have 3 boys (8,6yoand 2.5yo) the boys have sports on Thursday and friday nigths and also on the weekend, so i will often need you to come with me to help with my toddler or help drive the older two around . Both days involve school drop and pick up and then caring for my two youngest. On Tuesdays there is also basketball after school.
We would love someone who is creative and loves doing activities with the children (including getting outdoors and taking them to the park).
