I am a mature French born women, have been in Australia for now 30 years (I have dual citizenship), and am back to Canberra. I first lived in Perth where I completed an ‘Introduction to Child Care’ Certificate. Then I moved to Canberra where I worked as a casual relief worker in different childcare centres including the Alkira Child Care Centre and the Australian Institute of Sport’s Child Care Centre (Caretaker’s Cottage). I also worked at the Montessori Pre-School and the French-Australian Pre-school. I stopped working with children when the French Embassy employed me for four years. Then I spent a lot of time around Sydney and did not work for a few years looking after my own daughter. When I decided to work again I found work with the Commonwealth bank. I learned a lot in those different roles but I was missing caring for children, I enjoy their innocence and bubbly joy. I have been working for different private families and especially for Dr Alison Salkeld (Fell) looking after her son, and then his little brother, for 7 years. Since being Penrith area, I worked for 2 years for a familly and did casual babysitting. I believe that over the years, experience as well as being a mother myself, has allowed me to develop more maturity and everywhere I worked I know that I have been appreciated for my qualities of reliability, honesty, integrity, diplomacy and patience. In short, I love to care for children (and people) and always make sure that they are well looked after in every way, i cherish their slower time/space, contact with Nature and encourage their natural abilities. I have a valid driving license and a car, a current First Aid Certificate and I am a non-smoker (also do not drink alcohol). I have a Working With Children check available., also, I am a French tutor, I worked for 2 years teaching French to pre-schoolers and I can assist older children with their French homework or any other homework.

I am wonderfully cheerful and an absolute hit around children! I've been babysitting casually for my mums friends for around a year and a half now and i have absolutely adored taking care of children. I've loved it so much, in fact, that i now work as a before school care worker for primary school kids and also coach 8-14 year olds in soccer. I'm incredibly capable of controlling children whilst also inspiring them to have fun and grow as a person. Ever since i was 12 my mum would always leave me to take care of my little cousins because they would listen to me and enjoy themselves so much that they wouldn't cry (which my aunties loved..). However, besides this fun side I'm also incredibly mature, dedicated and organised. For years I've pushed and applied myself where necessary, whether it be to gain soccer skills or get the best grade possible. This discipline is reflected through my current education at the Australian National University, which i work incredibly hard to get into.

Hi families ! My name is Molly and I am a third year university student studying at ANU, originally from Sydney, undertaking a double degree of PPE/Arts (history and global security) and am enjoying my time. Throughout high school I held several continuous babysitting jobs with families and post graduating I have been working as a high school tutor and within a school after school programme, helping to support students who need an extra hand in grasping content and getting work done. The most rewarding part of working with kids is watching them grow as people and in confidence with you, forming good relationships which I hope to do with one of you. I have my own car and hold an unrestricted license. I also hold my WWVP and first aid certification.

I am used to working with children with special needs and am prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure both guardian and child feel comfortable.

I am an outgoing and friendly person with a curious mind. I am known for asking lots of questions because I love to learn. Even when there is nothing to do, I can make anything fun or create a game or activity. My family are loud and loving and we enjoy spending time together. Others would describe me as funny, a hard worker and a soft heart. I like keeping fit and being active, I particularly like going on runs. I also like fashion and jewellery and love looking up different outfits even if I don't buy them. I have extensive experience in babysitting and have only recently returned from France where I worked as an au pair for two little boys. My duties included picking them up from school, helping with homework, preparing dinner and getting them ready for bed.
