Hello families! I’m Aada, a young woman from Finland. I’m in Australia with a W&H visa and wish to keep doing what best suits me; caring for your amazing little one’s!
I’m an experienced, reliable and flexible caretaker. With more than five years of experience in the field, you can rely on me with your school aged kids, preschoolers and infants. I’ve worked in different youth groups, clubs and summer camps with 3 to 15 year olds. I’ve also worked in kindergartens as a substitute childcare worker, mostly in toddler and infant groups. I’ve done babysitting occasionally since I was 14 years old, and did Aupair in earlier this year with a 10 month old for 7 weeks. Before recently moving to Brisbane I coached gymnastics in Sydney for 4-10 year olds.
With your child I’m patient, nurturing and attentive, and enjoy being creative with age appropriate activities and play. Most important to me is that everyone is having fun while being safe and comfortable.
As a person I’m empathetic and friendly, some of my hobbies include ballet, snowboarding and arts. I enjoy exploring culture and nature and have so far loved my time in Australia, so much that I might continue with my studies here next year!
I have a WWCC and a criminal record check from Finland. My first aid/CPR certificate expired last year, but I’m planning to renew it soon. I’m currently looking for jobs and can’t tell for sure what my availabilities will be, but hope to get confirmation in the next few weeks. For now I’m available every day and time of the week.
I have a genuine passion for working with children, and hope to share my skills and help in the area!
