Hi! I’m Julie, an enthusiastic, active and attentive babysitter who cares deeply for babies and children of all ages. I believe kids need room to be kids, to enjoy and experience new things in their world as much as possible. I like to engage with toys, drawing, reading together, music, dancing and introducing my little clients to nature. I love animals, especially our native wildlife. I’m a nurse, midwife and trained Doula for Birth for Human Kind supporting underprivileged Mums through their pregnancy and beyond, including birthing and pre/postnatal care - I find these skills are welcomed by my new mums and my mum's to be. I have also had experience with children who are not so well and in hospital, working as a Support Worker in the children’s cancer wards of the Royal Children's Hospital, helping the family in whatever way I could. I am the mum of two wonderful boys who are now in their ‘20s and flying the coup. They are very talented in music, art and marketing and very environmentally aware, I'm so proud of them. My husband, a psychologist, and I have recently retired. It would be a pleasure to meet you and your precious little one(s), and talk through your needs and how I can help and support you in any way.
