Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi, I'm Brooke! I’m a 31 year old full time local primary school teacher (currently teaching Year One) and have been teaching since 2019. Before starting my career, I was a full time nanny and casual babysitter for many years. I enjoy having fun and caring for kids of all ages. I have looked after newborns from 6 weeks old on many occasions, both during the day and overnight. I am an extremely organised, energetic, reliable and caring individual. I come from a large family of 6 kids and adore animals, so pets are not a problem for me. I am currently looking for some extra weekend/evening/school holiday work, so please feel free to contact me if you are looking for a babysitter during these times. Brooke

As an experienced Babysitter/Nanny, I bring a unique blend of maternal wisdom and professional care developed through raising my own son (now 17) and 27 years of running a successful beauty business. My approach combines nurturing support with gentle structure, creating an environment where children feel both secure and encouraged to grow. Having managed my own business, I understand the importance of reliability, clear communication, and adapting to changing needs—skills I apply to childcare with natural ease. Currently pursuing studies in Western Herbal Medicine, I bring knowledge of holistic wellness and nutrition to support children's overall health. My years of client care have honed my ability to build trusting relationships, while my experience as a mother has taught me patience, understanding, and the joy of supporting a child's development. I offer parents not just childcare, but peace of mind knowing their children are in capable, caring hands while they're away.

Looking for: Part-time

Hi there! I'm Ellen — a nurturing, energetic, and fun-loving nanny with a background that blends the best of two worlds: early childhood education and the culinary arts. I hold a Certificate III in Children's Services as well as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and Patisserie, and have worked as both a professional chef and a professional nanny over the years. This means your little ones will not only be cared for with warmth and experience — they’ll also be enjoying delicious, wholesome meals (yes, even the fussy eaters!). My approach to childcare is child-led, respectful, and creative. I love engaging in imaginative play, outdoor adventures, and gentle routines that support a child’s natural curiosity and independence. I'm also a big believer in holistic health and well-being — I’m currently studying to become a nutritionist — so I enjoy weaving in physical activities like bike riding, yoga, dancing, ball games, and of course, fun cooking activities that are age-appropriate and safe (think rolling dough, picking herbs from the garden, or decorating smoothies!). I’ve worked in child care centres and as a private nanny, and I always strive to create a calm, secure, and laughter-filled environment where children feel seen and celebrated. I’m also a proud animal lover and more than happy to care for any four-legged family members along the way (I make a great dog walking buddy too!). I’m available 2–3 weekdays per week, starting from 8:00 am, and am more than happy to prepare nutritious meals for the whole family or just the little ones. If you’re looking for a nurturing, creative, and dependable nanny who can whip up a mean banana muffin and lead a yoga stretch before story time, I’d love to chat

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello there! I'm currently seeking a part-time or casual nanny position after the family I’ve been working with moved out of town. I have over a decade of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, and I’ve formed long-term, trusting relationships with families I’ve worked with. I also frequently step in as auntie for close friends and family, and have a step-daughter of my own. I also work as a kids’ party, workshop and play space facilitator, fuelling my passion for supporting self-expression, learning, empowerment and play. Prior studies in yoga and eastern philosophies, and my current focus on counselling and psychology, along with personal experience navigating mental health and neurodiversity, have contributed greatly to my ability to understand and attune to and communicate well with children, and I have a high capacity for providing emotional support. My priority is to foster a mutually safe, trusting relationship with children and their families, and to nurture emotional regulation and connection, ensuring children feel seen, heard, and respected, I bring a playful and creative spirit, with a love for exploration, adventures and cozy moments at home. I enjoy cooking, baking, making music, arts and crafts, and exploring nature, museums, playgrounds, libraries, galleries parks and all urban and nature adventuring in general. I am happy to take the lead with planning activities, engaging in play and coming up with ideas that encourage joy and learning. I also love engaging with child-lead play and enjoy discovering and nurturing whatever sparks the child's interest and enthusiasm. I’m very happy to assist with daily tasks like morning and bedtime routines, school drop-offs, errands, meal prep, homework, potty training, laundry and general household upkeep. Grossed out by the head lice your kid kindly bought home from kinder? I'll happily take care of that for you too! Being invited into a child's life to nurture their wellbeing and help them to grow, learn, and enjoy their world is a privilege and a joy, and I look forward to continuing to be a positive, supportive and inspiring presence for the next little human and their family. Thanks so much for taking the time to read my profile and feel free to get in touch if we sound like a good fit :)

In 2024 I worked at an outback station as a live-in governess teaching and caring for three children under 6 years old full-time. I am skilled at creating imaginative play-based and physical activities for children and helping build their self-confidence and resilience. I believe that being outside and interacting with nature and the community is an important part of childhood development (as is routine and healthy food!) ugh

Hi everyone :) My name is Hannah, I’m a 36yr old mum to a beautiful 20 month old daughter. English born but an Australian Citizen. Super friendly and chatty! I’m getting back into a new work routine after an extended maternity leave, looking to lend a helping hand where I can. My daughter attends daycare three days a week currently so my availability is limited but hoping to extend in time and I want to help where I can. I have taken it upon myself to start up as an independent support worker but I also love children so much and feel it’s my duty to help other mums too. Experiencing how hard postpartum can be first hand, strong women need to help each other! Being a mother myself, I’m used to the bottle feeds, weaning onto solids, nappies and mess etc, none of that fazes me :) I like keeping a reasonably tidy home, as much as you can with a little one to attend to haha! I'm always happy to help with home organising and possible meal prep too. I studied childcare back when I left school and became qualified, it has been a while since looking after children professionally but I don’t think you ever forget and my instincts are strong. Always happy to have a chat and discuss your needs further Thanks :)

I have extensive experience and knowledge with children of all age groups. I am comfortable and confident with multiple children and meal prep, cleaning and basic household tasks. I have experience with neurodivergent children and have studied education support. I am currently studying my diploma of community services through Swinburne, I plan to work for places like Berry Street or other children’s foundations and companies. I have nannied for multiple families across Melbourne and have always created a great experience. I have had other jobs but I always come back to this - I love being able to support and care for children in a more direct and personal manner and in home nanny-ing has always fulfilled that for me. I find this job genuinely rewarding. My biggest achievements in nannying have been creating sleep schedules, helping with attachment issues and bonding with a young child with ASD who had previously struggled with bonding with carers.
