Hi there! My name is Safiya. I am 26, born and raised in Melbourne's north. I work in case management for a domestic violence program, assisting families to re-establish their life free from violence. I have 3 younger and 2 older brothers. I look after my nieces aged 4 and 6, and my 10-month-old nephew, on a regular basis. I am all too familiar with the nappy changes, feeding, playing and comforting. I have a disabled 75-year-old grandmother who I care for once a week. This includes personal care such as pad changes, hoisting and showering. I enjoy caring for people and am often referred to as the mum of the group by my loved ones. I can offer sincerity, trust, compassion and years of experience as an aunty. A firm believer that it takes a village to raise a child, I do not take the trust of looking after someone's child lightly. Writing a statement doesn’t do my character justice, so I encourage you to speak with me and decide for yourself! Kind Regards, Safiya

Hello there! A little about me: I’m a compassionate, friendly, and caring person who is responsible and patient. I have a high spirit and a passion for life, remaining optimistic at all times. I am determined and confident in my abilities. Helping children grow in a healthy, happy, and safe environment is very important to me and comes naturally. I believe in educating children about right and wrong, as well as instilling great manners, which I encourage strongly. I have worked for many families in Australia and overseas, and I have also raised my own four children, including a set of twins, who are now wonderful young adults—educated, intelligent, and well-respected individuals (though I may be biased!). Throughout my many years of experience, I have cared for over a dozen families and have also worked with children who are hard of hearing, autistic, or battling leukemia. In addition to childcare, I do light housekeeping, including cooking and baking, which I truly enjoy, although it depends on the time available. I’m happy to assist with all ages of children; they are all lovely and unique in their own ways, and each presents its own delightful challenges. My previous occupations, aside from being a nanny, include laboratory assistant, fitness instructor, hospitality worker, caterer, receptionist, retail manager, administration officer, and integration aide. Although I am 58 years old, I am full of energy, fit, and healthy, and I embrace a healthy lifestyle, which keeps my outlook on life youthful! I have excellent references from previous and current employers who can verify my experience and work ethic as a nanny and educator. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss your family's needs. I look forward to hearing from you! Many thanks, Maria 😊

As a current uni student studying primary education, I am passionate about caring for children and nurturing their curiosity, development, and overall wellbeing and growth. I love animals, with three dogs of my own, so furry friends are definitely welcome. I have cared for multiple families over the course of four years, as well as experience in caring for my own, as an older sibling. My hobbies and interests include reading, movies, music, outdoors, dancing and painting. I have a kind, caring and nurturing nature. I am naturally a softhearted person, who has always adored children, and am also respectful, responsible, and reliable. I am able to follow strict guidelines and respect parents and kids' boundaries, as well as enforce my own. I am able to work flexible hours, both permanent and casual. I like to play games, get creative, and create memories in a fun, educational and safe way. I'm happy to engage with the interests of the kids, and do all kinds of activities; from princess tea parties, to scavenger hunts and toy car races. There are so many things that I love about this work. The first of which being the bonds that you make with the children and their families. Being genuinely missed while away, and loved by the kids, are what make all the hardship and tantrums worth it. Seeing them grow and learn through my care is heartwarming and incredibly fulfilling. I have a genuine passion of caring for children and I hope to continue to nurture that. I look forward to meeting your family soon and starting our journey together! :) Thank you

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi lovely parents! My name is Téa and I am looking for work, either part time or casual. Ideally, any parents reaching out need someone to babysit/child mind on a regular basis or to help in regards to an upcoming event. Background: I am in my third year of uni, studying a bachelor of arts at the University of Melbourne. I major in psychology, and hope to one day work as an animal assisted therapist for children. Availability: I am only available to work on the weekends and Monday or Tuesday nights. This is because I currently work with 3 lovely families. One that requires casual babysitting once every fortnight or so after hours, so my availability can fluctuate but I will happily convey this with you. A second that requires before school help from Monday through to Friday from 7:30am till 11am. And the third requires fortnightly help on Thursday’s from 5:30pm till 8:30pm. Rate: My rate is $40 per hour, but I charge an extra $10 per hour (ie. $50 per hour) if you are wanting me to stay past midnight. Services: 1. Babysitting/child minding 2. Pet sitting/walking 3. Cooking/meal prep 4. Light cleaning 5. Basic homework help 6. Fun! Experience and Qualifications: As I’ve mentioned, I am currently working with three families. One where I look after two young boys aged 9 and 12, another where I look after a 6 yearold girl and newborn baby boy, and the third family has two boys aged 4 and 6. However, my experience working with children is much more vast. One of my hobbies growing up was playing chess, and I have fortunately been able to make a job out of it by tutoring primary and secondary school students. I have worked solo with classes of 3 to 20+ students at a time, and in team settings with 400 kids under my care. This means that I have gained a deep understanding as how to work with children who have learning difficulties and behavioural challenges. My work also requires me to have an employee wwcc and first aid certificate in an education and care setting. Upon request I am happy to share these with you. I have my license and can take kids to and from school/sport or any other activities. If I had your permission, I would love to take them to the zoo, park, bowling, etc to keep them entertained and happy. I completely understand if you would prefer to meet me before agreeing to any work and am happy to do so. I can’t wait to hear from you :)

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

Hi my name is Olivia :) I have been travelling Europe for the past 7 months and got back on the 12th of February and I am now seeking some more employment involving working with children. My main expereince besides little gigs here and there is: Previously to my travels I looked after a gorgeous boy for a year who turned 2 while I was looking after him. I really enjoyed this and had a lovely bond but unfortunately his family moved to Perth. The hours were 8-6pm and I am looking for something similar. Prior to that I nannied casually for a 2 and a half year old boy who I took to the pools often due to my experience with swim teaching (this job was for a few months). Another family of two girls; a 6 month year old and 4 year old who needed my help for 3 months while their old helper was away. A german family who I’ve a good relationship with and nannied for them on two different occasions (a few months stint each time) who stay in Melbourne for a bit to visit family. (They were 6 months and 2 years old the first time and 2 and a half and 4 the following) Before some travels I did in 2022, I looked after a young girl around one years old for 6 months which was also long houred days of 8-5pm. Those two gigs were under an angency called The Reinforcement nannying agency. Which no longer runs. I have been a children's swimming teacher for Elite Swimming where I dealt with a wide range of ages typically (2-13 years old) in group and private situations. Prior to starting nannying 4 years ago i did casual baby sitting for 6+ years for local families where I first gained experience with kids varying ages. I am the second oldest out of four girls and therefore I am very family orientated and have grown up in a household surrounded by other kids which has taught me a lot of valuable skills such as communication and patience. I am currently a paused uni student who was studying a bachelor of science at Monash prior to my travels. I have taken intermission from this as I’m unsure if its still what i would like to study. I am a very caring, energetic, friendly person who is a reliable, confident, and flexible worker. I believe I have a nurturing nature and genuinely love being around and caring for kids. I love being able to watch a child I look after flourish and development into their own unique character. I also am more than happy to help out with cleaning up around the house, preparing meals, bathing etc. A bit about me: I love playing sports (netball and football), being in nature, cooking, listening to music, leading an active lifestyle as well as partaking in spontaneous activities with my friends and always trying and learning new things! I am more than happy to give anymore information required by potential employers and provide parent references. I recently refreshed my first aid, I have a car and have a WWCC. Rates wise: When looking after two children I have typically recieved an additional $5 per hour.
