Working as both a part-time nanny/babysitter, and full time live-in au pair previously, I have cared for both infants and school aged children, learning and adapting on the spot to the emotional and behavioural needs of each child and family I have worked for previously. I have a very fun, playful and enthusiastic personality but am also very respectful and responsible when it comes to fulfilling the specific needs set out within the position and am reliable with times to make sure all duties are carried out within work hours. I have also been responsible previously for preparing healthy meals and doing light housework and am more than obliged to resume these responsibilities should it be necessary. Further, while my on the job experience as afforded me a well rounded skill set including problem-solving and general common sense, I also excel at: engaging children with games and puzzles and outdoors activities, helping school aged children with school assignments and activities, scheduling and completing school, appointment and entertainment outings, and modelling appropriate social behaviours. I am currently looking for a position that coincides with my studies and am available for occasional evening work.

I am a kind, caring and calm person who has a range of childcare experience. I have previously worked full time as a nanny for a lovely family where I developed a strong, trusting and mutual relationship while caring for their 14 month (+) child. Prior to that, I worked full time in a nursery/kindy with children ranging in age from five months to five years and have also worked for a reputable childcare agency providing regular, ongoing and casual childcare to families and nurseries for around five years. I am very active and enjoy a range of sports and activities, spending time exploring the outdoors - spending time at both the countryside and the beach - but also value the importance of quiet time, enjoying reading, crafts and a range of different activities. I have experience with newborns, children and teens, caring for multiples and children with additional support needs. I have previously completed Child Protection and Safeguarding training, am a certified PEEP practitioner (child and adult learning together programme), paediatric first aid trained and have a masters in Pscyhology with modules in child development. I feel strongly about providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn and play.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time

Hello everyone- my name is Jill and I am posting this on behalf of my amazing mum- Trinh! Mum isn’t super fast on the computer so I will be managing messages but directing calls to her. About mum: Trinh- 56- Vietnamese Australian- mother of 2. My mum is an incredible woman. Even in her 50’s, she is healthy and is always energised by the kids she’s looked after. She keeps young and brings so much joy to the people around her. Mum was a primary school teacher in Vietnam before she migrated to Australia in 1994. She loved teaching and would have done this forever had she not had to leave. I was born at the refugee camp in Malaysia where both mum and dad lived for 5 years. Their resilience and bravery has shaped who I am today. Back to mum: mum is one of the most compassionate, warm, kind, generous and most caring women ever. She raised my brother and I; so she was a full time mum (the best mum) for years and went back into study and childcare work in the last 15 years. Mum studied at Victoria University for a bit where did she Early Childhood Education. Her absolute passion is kids and the families who have been lucky to know her have adored her. She currently has full availability. She is also happy to do light cleaning and if needed, she can also cook super delicious and nutritious Vietnamese/ Asian lunches/ dinner. Mum is definitely comfortable with taking the kids to parks/ any other extra curricular activities. Fyi: Her english is competent. She does have an accent but both my brother and I speak to her in english. She can communicate and is so careful, she will always double or triple check with you if there is any confusion! Her last family would be happy to give a reference too. Extra info: About me: (Trinh’s daughter) I am a graduate of the University of Melbourne and I currently work in film and television. Please message me or email me if you’d like to connect and I will pass you onto mum! Email: jilliannguyen92@gmail.com

Hello, I'm a 26-year-old nanny from Bogotá, Colombia. I have a genuine love for children and extensive experience caring for babies and young kids. In Colombia, I worked as a nanny for a 6-month-old baby, and I cherished every moment spent with her. After moving to Melbourne, I continued working as a babysitter. In 2023, I cared for a 3-year-old girl for two months. From 2023 to 2024, I looked after two boys aged 2 and 5 for 11 months. My responsibilities included preparing their meals, feeding them, playing, taking them to the park, and bathing them. Most recently, in January and February 2025, I took care of an 18-month-old baby in Melbourne, preparing and feeding meals, taking him for walks, playing with him, and putting him to sleep. Parents from my previous jobs are happy to provide references about my work. I am a responsible, caring, and dedicated nanny who always strives to create a safe and joyful environment for children. In addition to childcare, I can assist with meal preparation, homework help, and engaging in fun and educational activities. I hold deep respect for parents and the trust they place in me to care for their children. I am happy to provide regular updates on their well-being and activities. Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there Mums & Dads.... I am your Mary Poppins!! I currently look after a few families however my calendar has opened for a new family in 2025. I commit to long hour and long term commitment for the year with all of my families. It's important. Currently I cover ages 8 months, 12 months, 2.5 years, 4.5 years and 9 & 11 years olds. I understand the variety of changing developments in children and adapt to these needs. I love children and have looked after them across many stages of my entire life, as a local babysitter since I was 14 years old and up until now as a professional nanny for parents who are doctors, solicitors, engineers, school teachers, marketing specialist and even a CEO. Having a person of a mature age can provide some enormous benefits to both parents and children. I know life well and in very deeply different ways. I have an extensive understanding of the impact a moment or day in time can have on a child. Being there to pick up on these signals is very important. Recognising and sensing these subtle shifts need an awareness that comes with human development, of which I have covered extensively. Keeping a child calm and happy is important and to have skills that remove the stress and anxiety is about the energy from the nanny/babysitter. To become relaxed and connected/engaged with a mature age carer can offer great comfort to any child. The love will always be there. I follow routines and set boundaries, (initiated from the parents) for all children because it creates security and trust with them. I participate in both home and outdoor activities and excursions. I can drive my own car (petrol charges incur) or use any parents' cars. I cover household cleaning (light house work: all things kids mess, upkeep where possible in the laundry area, keep kitchen clean) to take the burden away from parents so they can come home to a cleaner environment than perhaps they left it. This is always discussed in detail for any family because I am not a 'house cleaner' I am a Nanny. I am extremely reliable and punctual to enable all parents to relax knowing I will always be there for them. I look forward to hearing from you. Nanny Clare
