Hi I'm Elisa and I'm looking for a part time nanny position or/ as well as casual babysitting. My work background has primarily been in a caring role- hospitality, on board a cruise ship,flight attendant,aged care & disability support worker. I’ve had 2 long term nanny positions . I was a nanny to a family of 6 children ( 3 boys & 3 girls ) for 5 years & became a loved member of their busy family. I held my most recent position for 8 years and sadly finished as their youngest commenced High School this year. I have always enjoyed caring & looking after people but particularly children, I find it a truely rewarding & fulfilling role. All my previous jobs have required understanding,patience & genuine care,which I consider important qualities when looking after children. I am honest & reliable and flexible in terms of days & duties. I reside in Forest Hill and would prefer a position that is reasonably close to home(25km radius). I've had many years experience working as a nanny and babysitter, including live-in sole charge, in Australia, UK , and Switzerland where in Geneva I was employed by a member of the Italian royal family. My professional background is in editing ,writing, advertising,and public relations so I am useful to help with homework. My minimum booking is 3 hours . I charge the equivalent of 3 hours fees for a day/evening cancellation that is made with less than 12 hours notice. This fee will be waived if a substitute booking, equal to the monetary value of the original booking, can be arranged to be worked within the next fortnight. My evening rate starts at 8 pm and the day rate resumes at midnight . I do not take work that involves using my car to transport children under 3. I charge 80 cents per km for the use of my car.
