Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hello! I'm Maddie! I've been a nanny for many years now and adore the work that I get to do. I'm 26, artist, creative and am studying art therapy :) I grew up as a gymnast, and was a coach for 5+ years, teaching gymnastics for tiny babies, all the way up to teens. This experience awarded me skills to work with kids of many ages dynamically, with focus on safety, creativity and accessibility. My years of coaching taught me the joy and value I feel when working with children, and how my natural playfulness and curiosity flourishes in child care work. As someone with neurodivergence, I am energic and enthusiastic, and highly impassioned towards making every child, and everyone feel safe and accepted, and am dedicated with this drive with every family I work for. I love to draw, paint, dance, sing, and play integratively with the kids; promoted by their imagination. I am available for regular work Monday 7am-12pm, Tuesday 2pm-10pm, Wednesday 7am-3pm, Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 7am-3pm, Saturday 12pm-9pm, Sunday 8am-9pm. Am available for one casual sittings, and weekly bookings :) please send me a message for more info! I am based in Thornbury, 3071 Experience: 5+ years as nanny, 5+ years as gymnastics coach, 2 years studying arts therapy.

Looking for: Full-time,Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi there! I'm Electra, and I recently graduated from Oxford University with a Bachelor's in Economics and Management. I've been casually babysitting and nannying since I was 16, and I absolutely love working with children. My approach to childcare is comprehensive, drawing on my extensive experience in nannying, tutoring, and first aid. Over the past five years, I’ve tutored various subjects at both the primary and secondary school levels. I’m passionate about helping kids with their daily homework and any challenging concepts they might be struggling with at school, as I believe it's crucial for them to feel confident in their abilities. Recognising that a child's home is a significant part of their world, I’m dedicated to assisting with household management, including cleaning, decluttering, laundry, and other duties, to ensure their environment is as comfortable as possible. Food plays a vital role in both happiness and health. I enjoy cooking and strive to make mealtimes special by preparing nutritious meals and engaging in meaningful conversations over dinner. Safety is my top priority. During my five-year tenure as an Assistant Age Manager at my local surf lifesaving club, I taught ocean safety skills to children of all ages and earned several first aid qualifications. I was honored to be named Assistant Age Manager of the Year in 2019. I also enjoy collaborating with parents to establish consistent rules and boundaries within the family unit, creating an environment of trust, love, support, and stability for your children. Together, we can ensure a nurturing and secure atmosphere for your family.

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi families! I'm a social worker who is friendly, warm, caring and reliable. As a social worker I am passionate about delivering a high standard of child centred care, I am attuned, present, empathetic and I love working with kids. I have experience babysitting and I also have lots of little cousins who I treasure and who have taught me many lessons. Happy to provide parent references. I have experience working as a mental health support worker. Up until recently I was employed as a family violence case manager, supporting women and children to escape and recover from family violence. As you can imagine it was a pretty stressful role so I am taking a short break from the field and seeking some casual work in the interim. I love to cook and I am an avid cleaner so if you need a hand getting jobs done around the house I am your girl. As a child I attended a Rudolf Steiner School in the country. As a result I love all things outdoors and all things creative and would be happy to embark on adventures to the park with your little ones or to have arts and crafts days. I have a fully insured car and drivers licence and as such I am happy to do school pick ups and drop offs. I have my working with childrens check, first aid certificate, NDIS worker screening check and am fully vaccinated against covid 19.
