Meet Kate: A nanny and babysitter in Footscray, VIC

Working as both a part-time nanny/babysitter, and full time live-in au pair previously, I have cared for both infants and school aged children, learning and adapting on the spot to the emotional and behavioural needs of each child and family I have worked for previously. I have a very fun, playful and enthusiastic personality but am also very respectful and responsible when it comes to fulfilling the specific needs set out within the position and am reliable with times to make sure all duties are carried out within work hours. I have also been responsible previously for preparing healthy meals and doing light housework and am more than obliged to resume these responsibilities should it be necessary. Further, while my on the job experience as afforded me a well rounded skill set including problem-solving and general common sense, I also excel at: engaging children with games and puzzles and outdoors activities, helping school aged children with school assignments and activities, scheduling and completing school, appointment and entertainment outings, and modelling appropriate social behaviours. I am currently looking for a position that coincides with my studies and am available for occasional evening work.
