Meet Bethany: A nanny in Carnegie, VIC

My is Bethany West-Newman, I have been in the early childhood education industry for 18 years . Throughout my time as a Room Leader and Educational Leader in early childhood I have had extensive experience in developing and implementing different styles of curriculum across all ages. I also provide individualised care and, have had developed respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and educators. I am very familiar with the EYLF, NQS, VEYDLF and have been involved in QIP development.

Through my experience of working closely with people I have developed effective communication and mentoring skills as well as organisation skills and ability to facilitate learning experiences. I have been through the assessment and rating process multiple times and I am up to date with child safe standards . I have worked over a range of differing philosophies and settings which helps me to have a well rounded understanding of early childhood quality education . As part of my roles I have developed strategies to support with additional needs, developmentally and behavioural.
