Meet Penny: A nanny and babysitter in Maroochydore, QLD

I'm a 24 year old Brit with previous Au Pair and Creche experience, who brings a compassionate approach to childcare.

As an Au Pair, I had the privilege of caring for 3 children, aged 2-7. My responsibilities were diverse, from school drop-off/pick-up to playgroups and swimming lessons. Additionally, I prepared meals and handled light household chores. I loved being part of a lively household, allowing the children to grow, explore, and express themselves freely.

Currently, I work as a casual Crèche Attendant, looking after children from 3 months to primary school age in a gym setting. Whether providing supervision or facilitating interaction, my aim is to create a fun and secure atmosphere that supports the children's well-being.

In the UK, I worked as a Care Support Worker for a college for students with special educational needs. I encouraged independence, dignity, and quality of life for individuals, providing a safe and supportive environment where they could thrive. I gained experience managing a variety of challenging behaviours, and developed trusting relationships through one-on-one support.
