Meet Mariana: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Brookvale, NSW

I am currently pursuing a Certificate III in Health and Care at Greenwich College, focusing on providing care for individuals of all ages, including the elderly, children, and those with disabilities. My experience caring for my 83-year-old grandmother with Alzheimer’s and a prosthetic leg has strengthened my commitment to delivering dignified care. Additionally, while living in Brazil, I cared for my cousin Ysaac, who had Down syndrome, and my 3-year-old cousin Emilly while her mother worked. These experiences have deepened my understanding of care, and I am excited to further develop my skills while making a positive impact in the lives of those I assist.
