It is extremely important to me that each child is treated as an individual. Even twins and children of the same. What works for one often doesn't work with another. It takes time to work out what works for children and I am always willing to put in the time. From sitting on the floor and being crawled on, listening to reader of the day or the challenges of math homework. A nanny has to be caring, loving, a good listener to encouraging them to help clean up. I enjoy helping children to be all that they can with lots of love and support

I am a mother of twin 31 young women, I raised them by myself. They have spread their wings and are no longer living with me. I very much miss being an "active mum", 30yos like to make their own way in the world. I very much enjoy spending time with young people and watching them grow.I am more than happy to support the parents with the way they discipline, I think open and honest communication is the only way to go. I have worked with several families, however these 3 have been the main ones. These families had very different needs, 2 families when needed the other Mon-Wednesday after school. I treat each child as individuals. I also worked for many years as a support and advocacy worker in the disability field. Both physical and mental health . This was a very challenging role which required lots of patience, caring and understanding. I can be very flexible and know the challenges of parenting and working.
I don't cook, happy to reheat.
