Meet Jacqueline: A nanny in Mount Gravatt East, QLD

My name is Jacqueline. I am a very motivated mother in the 50 and I have great attention to detail. I have two sons, Leon, who is 18 and Kevin, who is 25. I am from Germany and my husband is Australian. Leon went to school at Kelvin Grove State College and Kevin is studying Geophysics in Germany. We live since 6 years in Brisbane Mt. Gravatt East. Before the birth of my son Kevin in 1992 my professional duties as a paralegal gave me much satisfaction and commitment in the work place. When Kevin turned 3 I began working as a babysitter and performed housekeeping duties on a part time bases around 20 hours a week. In 1998 my second son Leon was born. For the next 3 years I had plenty to do looking after Kevin and baby Leon and performing all the duties of a housewife, which I loved doing. After this I returned to the work force as a part time babysitter and I also did some hours in the law firm. My babysitting duties were showing special cleanliness for the care of the babies whilst bathing, dressing and getting them ready for outings etc. On many occasions I enjoy taking the children to the parks, playing outside, reading books to them and generally making them smile and be happy. If there were housekeeping duties to perform I also did this. At present I look after three kids aged 2, 5 and a 15 month old toddler and 6 and 8 months old babies. I perform all household duties, including cooking. As well as paying close attention to the welfare of the children. I am aware of the dangers a house can present and I am always cautious of this. I speak English very well however German is my mother language and I can teach the children some of this language as well, if you like.
