Meet Michiru: A nanny in Brisbane, QLD

🙋🏻‍♀️My name is Michiru, and I'm 22 years old.

I’m currently studying at Hiroshima University in the Faculty of Education, working towards a teaching license in Home Economics🥣🪡

I’ve realized that in order to improve my skills, I need to learn more about languages and the cultures of other countries, which is why I decided to go on a Working Holiday in Australia🇦🇺❤️

🧑‍🧑‍🧒I’m looking for a warm and welcoming family who could host me as a Child Au Pair for about 3 to 6 months✨The idea of living with kids and experiencing life in Australia sounds super exciting to me😳I really hope to meet lovely family in Australia while I’m there!💗

👩‍🎓At university, I did a teaching placement where I taught Home Economics to middle and high school students for a month📚After that, I worked for a month at a child development support and after-school care service🍀

I absolutely love spending time with children, and I’d love to continue working in a field where I can be around kids in the future👶🏻

- Taking walks in nature or the city

- Visiting art museums

- Travelling to places i haven’t been

・i’m not extremely extroverted but am often referred to as the mother of my friend group, i enjoy a relaxed comfortable environment with great people that love to laugh and have fun

📖In Japan, Home Economics covers things like cooking🍳, sewing🧵, life living🏠, child education👶🏻, and consumer life💶. For example, I even made yukata and jinbei (traditional kids' clothing) at university👘

I think I can bring a lot of what I’ve learned about Japanese culture and my studies to my role as an Au Pair. I’m also really excited to make this experience as an Au Pair something that will help me grow for the future!✊
