Meet MARIA: A nanny in St Kilda, VIC

I'm Maria and I'm from Ecuador. I am a nanny and physiotherapist with over two years of experience in both fields. I am a dog lover, enjoy fantasy and science fiction stories, have a weakness for Disney and Marvel movies with a giant bowl of popcorn, and am passionate about meditation and yoga.

I am currently continuing my academic preparation to acquire further knowledge and relevant skills for childcare. Therefore, improving my English proficiency is essential; I have an intermediate level but need practice to reach excellence, making this job a great opportunity for me. I am skilled in assisting young ones with their schoolwork to enhance their performance and participating in their daily activities, initiating and suggesting recreational activities to improve their physical and mental competencies, and most importantly, establishing active bonds and communication to understand and connect with them.

Over the years, I have performed tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, maintaining a tidy home, reading stories (one of my favorite activities), suggesting games, and preparing children for bedtime, among others.
