Meet Norah: A au pair in St Kilda, VIC

hello I’m Norah !

I’m a 22-year-old from the beautiful city of Milan, where I was born and raised. My parents are originally from Egypt, so I grew up in a rich blend of Italian and Egyptian cultures, which has given me a deep appreciation for diversity. I studied languages in high school, which helped me develop excellent communication skills and a love for connecting with people from different backgrounds.

I come from a big family with two younger siblings — a sister and a brother — and an older brother. Being in the middle has taught me how to be both a caring big sister and a responsible role model, making me naturally skilled at looking after children.

I recently graduated in Interior Design from the prestigious Politecnico di Milano. Although design is my passion, I’ve always loved spending time with my siblings and caring for younger children, whether it’s helping with homework, playing games, or simply being a supportive presence.

I’m patient, organized, and empathetic, qualities I’ve honed not just through my studies, but through my role in my family. Now, I’m excited to bring these skills to a new adventure in Australia, especially in Melbourne. I look forward to becoming a part of a family where I can contribute to your children’s care, share my love for creativity, and embrace new cultural experiences.
