Meet Claudia: A nanny and babysitter in Cammeray, NSW

Hi, I'm Claudia, I am 20 years old currently living in Cammeray while studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Australian Catholic University in North Sydney. I am looking for casual or part time nannying/babysitting work over the summer school holidays. I love spending time with children, and am hoping to specialise in paediatric OT once I finish my degree. I have had experience with children my whole life. I am the oldest of four children, with many younger cousins, I worked as an assistant dance teacher during high school for the 2-4 and 7-9 year old ballet and jazz classes, and have been nannying for a lovely family for the last 2.5 years alongside working at my old boarding school on weekends whilst I study. I am a reliable, trustworthy and outgoing person as well as very patient with children. I have previously completed a 5-week OT student placement at a paediatric clinic in June this year which has allowed me to develop key skills when working with children. I am very enthusiastic, able to show interest in the kids activities and interests and truly passionate about working with kids. I am committed to any job I take on, and am serious about fulfilling my role as a carer. As I aim to specialise in paediatric occupational therapy once I complete my bachelor degree at ACU, so being able to look after children now while I'm studying will not only be enjoyable for me but provide me with necessary experience once I complete my degree. I am willing to perform light household cleaning as well as cooking meals for the children and am able to do school pick up and drop offs as required. I am flexible with my availabilities as I will have no university commitments during the school holidays.
