Meet Madelene: A nanny in Elwood, VIC

My name is Madelene, I live in Elwood. For the past 4 years I have been running my own Nannying business. I have worked with five families in the St Kilda/Elwood area during this period. The children’s ages ranging from newborn to 10 years old. I have been with my current family for 2.5 years.

My duties included all meal prep, bottle feeds, nappy changes, play based learning, taking the children to their activities, light cleaning, dinner and bath time. I feel very confident in caring for babies and have gained experience in maintaining well structured nap times, transitioning to the bottle and introducing solid foods.

I am a qualified infant massage therapist, with in-depth training in the development of first born through to toddlers and last year I began studying for my bachelors in early childhood and primary education. I truly appreciate and value play based, creative and outdoor learning, I love to utilise it in every aspect of my work.

I have first aid- child CPR, police checks and working with children checks. I can also provide references from my current and previous family upon request.
