Meet Electra: A nanny and babysitter in Northcote, VIC

Hi there! I'm Electra, and I recently graduated from Oxford University with a Bachelor's in Economics and Management. I've been casually babysitting and nannying since I was 16, and I absolutely love working with children. My approach to childcare is comprehensive, drawing on my extensive experience in nannying, tutoring, and first aid.

Over the past five years, I’ve tutored various subjects at both the primary and secondary school levels. I’m passionate about helping kids with their daily homework and any challenging concepts they might be struggling with at school, as I believe it's crucial for them to feel confident in their abilities.

Recognising that a child's home is a significant part of their world, I’m dedicated to assisting with household management, including cleaning, decluttering, laundry, and other duties, to ensure their environment is as comfortable as possible.

Food plays a vital role in both happiness and health. I enjoy cooking and strive to make mealtimes special by preparing nutritious meals and engaging in meaningful conversations over dinner.

Safety is my top priority. During my five-year tenure as an Assistant Age Manager at my local surf lifesaving club, I taught ocean safety skills to children of all ages and earned several first aid qualifications. I was honored to be named Assistant Age Manager of the Year in 2019.

I also enjoy collaborating with parents to establish consistent rules and boundaries within the family unit, creating an environment of trust, love, support, and stability for your children. Together, we can ensure a nurturing and secure atmosphere for your family.
