Meet Kira: A nanny and babysitter in Black Rock, VIC

I am a 27-year-old American citizen who recently relocated to Melbourne. I have been involved in childcare since the age of 14 and have developed a strong commitment to providing nurturing, educational, and safe environments for children of all ages.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Primary Education. Additionally, I have completed coursework in child developmental psychology, which has deepened my understanding of the needs and behavior of children. My professional background includes working at three different preschools in the U.S., where I primarily served as a lead preschool teacher. I have a lot of hands-on experience working with children ranging from newborns to pre-teens, and I have developed a broad skill set in supporting children’s educational, emotional, and physical needs.

I hold an American passport, a Work and Holiday Visa (462), and a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC). I have also completed First Aid, CPR, safe sleep courses, and other essential training in the U.S. I am happy to provide my resume, school transcripts, and any additional documentation upon request. Additionally, I have worked with a family here in Melbourne and can arrange for them to provide a reference letter on my behalf.
