Meet Susan: A nanny in Barangaroo, NSW

Hi my name is Susan and I am 37 years old. Irish origin, but I am an Australian permanent resident, and have previously resided in Australia for 12years. I came back to Ireland just before Covid hit, but I am looking to relocate back to Sydney again, and am on the search for my ideal nanny position.

I am qualified with a diploma in children's services, and have worked as a childcare practitioner and nanny over the last 19years.

I have worked prodominiely with children 0-3, that is where must if my experience lies. I have been a room leader in centres and a sole charge nanny in people's homes.

I am searching to return to nanny work again, as although I love the childcare industry, I do feel that especially as a lead educator, that your responsibilities sometimes take away from you been able to spend time with the children, and be a bigger part of provided them the experiences that help them thrive and grow.

My availability unfortunately isn't until January 2025, as that is when my move will take place, but I'm just hoping to perhaps secure my perfect job before then.
