Meet Beatrice: A nanny and babysitter in Potts Point, NSW

Hi there! I am a 28 year old dedicated and hardworking person who enjoys looking after children. I practiced as a solicitor for four years before leaving the industry earlier in 2024 to pursue a career in primary education. In 2024 I worked as an Assistant Coordinator of before and after school care at a local school where I developed my skills in working with children, creating a safe and encouraging environment for them. In that role I was required to assist in running the service, coming up with activities for the children to do and ensuring the environment was safe for them to play. I assisted in running the school holiday program, where I was in charge of staff looking after up to 50 children in service and on excursion. Prior to my career in law I was a nanny and casual babysitter for a number of families in Canberra (whilst I was studying at the Australian National University) and Sydney. Those roles involved picking up the kids from school and taking them to various activities, taking the children on adventures whilst on school holidays, helping with homework, helping with regular tasks around the house, feeding the kids dinner or snacks and playing with them! I am passionate about working with kids and I’m looking forward to helping your family out.
