Hey there! My name is Mel. I'm an educator in the performing arts, with a passion for music, theatre, and learning and have +10 years of experience in childcare, nannying and babysitting. I'm a performer and teacher by trade, with qualifications from NIDA (The National Institute of Dramatic Art) and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and I hold a Masters degree in Performance Teaching from The University Of Melbourne. I have very real connections with families I've met through this website, and have been taking jobs from Find A Babysitter for years, so I have lots of positive reviews to speak to the natural affinity I have with kids! I nannied consistently for a beautiful family with two toddlers over the past last two years and have also worked as an Educator/Carer at the popular Kool Kidzz holiday program, an Educator and Carer at Penleigh & Essendon Grammar School in the music and drama programs and as an Arts & Crafts teacher in shopping centre workshops. I'm a genuinely enthusiastic, warm, bubbly and playful person who adores playing with children (and is happy to, for hours on end!) but can be equally firm and instil boundaries when required.
