Meet Isha: A nanny and babysitter in Templestowe, VIC

A soon-to-be law graduate who has realised that her true passion lies in working with children. My last role was a Youth Facilitator at a Prep–Yr 12 College, but due to the extensive three-hour daily commute to the school, I had to sadly step away. However, that role reaffirmed what I've always known—I love working with kids!

As the eldest of four siblings (with a 10- and 12-year age gap), I naturally took on a second-mother role. From the moment they were born, I’ve been hands-on in every aspect of their upbringing, and my love for caring for children has only grown since. Being a big-sister is the best kind of child-minding experience one can have in my opinion.

For the past 15 years, I’ve provided child-minding for family and friends, and now I’m excited to offer my experience more formally in 2025. Whether it’s newborns, toddlers, or teens, I’m confident and well-versed in looking after little ones with care and enthusiasm.

As I complete my law degree this year, I’m looking for child-minding opportunities alongside my volunteer paralegal work (which takes place on Tuesdays, hence my unavailability on that day).
