Meet Gabriella: A nanny and babysitter in Green Valley, NSW

I am 17 and recently graduated high school and am the second child in a large family of six kids. Growing up in such a dynamic household has given me invaluable experience with children of all ages. From caring for my youngest brothers, who are just 6 months old and 2 and a half years old, to helping guide my little sisters who are 11, and 9, I’ve learned the importance of patience, understanding, and adaptability.

Being surrounded by so many different stages of life has made me highly attuned to the needs and emotional well-being of others, especially kids. This experience has shaped me into a more responsible and empathetic individual, knowing that each child is unique and requires different kinds of support. I’m not afraid to get creative in engaging with children, balancing fun with responsibility to create a nurturing, enjoyable environment where they feel safe and supported.

As a Christian, my faith is central to everything I do. It influences how I approach relationships, work, and decision-making. My values are deeply rooted in integrity, kindness, and the belief that we should always help others whenever we can. I was also a mentor throughout high school, where I not only helped others academically but also guided them through personal growth. This experience taught me the importance of being a positive role model and supporting others, which has shaped my approach to life and my commitment to contributing positively to my community.
