Looking for: Part-time, Casual Babysitting
Hi Families, my name is Lauren!
I'm a friendly, nurturing, and experienced nanny who has recently moved to the Gold Coast from Melbourne. I've been caring for children aged 6 months to 12 years since 2016, and I absolutely love creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where kids feel happy and supported.
In Melbourne, I provided part-time care for two wonderful families last year, looking after a 1.5-year-old in one and a 7-month-old in the other until relocating! I'm confident in managing routines, settling for naps and bedtime, planning fun and stimulating activities, encouraging development, and handling meal times and hygiene. I also like to keep things tidy, helping out where I can to make life a little easier for parents. I also have experience caring for multiple children at once, including a 6-month-old, 2-year-old, and 4-year-old together - which has strengthened my ability to balance different needs, and create a smooth, structured, and happy environment for everyone.
I hold a First Aid & CPR certification, a Vic Working with Children Check, a Blue Card, a Police Check, and a full Australian driver's license. I also have a background as a lifeguard and aquatics supervisor, so safety is always at the forefront of my care.
I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your little ones, and I take that responsibility seriously - while still making sure we have plenty of fun! If you're looking for someone easygoing, reliable, and genuinely passionate about working with kids, I'd love to chat.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Lauren :)
