We are a busy family seeking an experienced and professional housekeeper/nanny to provide attentive care for our 5-month-old baby and assist with household management. Our household values reliability, warmth, and efficiency, and we are looking for someone who can seamlessly integrate into our daily routines. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 9 am to 5 pm until Feb 2025. Mondays and Fridays 9 am to 7 pm starting Feb 2025. Flexibility for late evening support when required.
We live in 115 Bathurst Street (right in the Sydney CBD).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide loving, attentive care for our infant, including feeding, nap supervision, playtime, and developmentally appropriate activities (including starting solids). Follow specific instructions and schedules provided by family.
• Handle housekeeping duties, such as tidying, laundry, emptying and loading dishwasher, wiping down countertops and tables, light vacuum in high traffic areas, refilling consumables, taking trash to trash chute, feeding dog, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. (We do not expect you to deep clean our home as we have cleaners who come weekly.)
• Meal preparation for the baby and light meal support for the family as needed.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and occasional household organization tasks.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role including childcare and previous housekeeping experience in private homes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Active and energetic, with the physical stamina to keep up with an infant and household demands.
• Experience in infant care, especially with sleep routines and starting solids for infants.
• Certification in infant CPR and first aid.
• Hold a police check and Blue Card/WWCC.
