My name is Dionne and I am a professional, nurturing, and warm person who loves children. I have completed most of a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education degree (with a specialisation in Diversity) at Edith Cowan University. I now have an ACECQA approved equivalent. I have spent the last 11 years working with children of all ages. I have previously worked as a nanny with a variety of different families from different backgrounds, and I believe I am well equipped to handle any new challenges that come my way while working with children of all ages. I believe that due to my knowledge of child development, and my ability to form trusting relationships with children and their families, I would be an exceptional candidate to care for your children. From my experiences and studies so far, I have developed an in-depth skill set which continues to deepen and grow. My passion lies with valuing each child as an individual, as well as the importance of play in a child's development. I understand that fun activities implemented through play enhance development in all areas. Through play, children can practice life skills, construct their own learning and are able to develop autonomy and independence. I also have an in depth understanding of children's behaviour and the deeper root cause of and behavioural issues that may arise. I havwe the skills to respond compassionately and appropriately to misbehaviours and to diffuse volatile situations. I am committed to forming great relationships with not only the children that I care for, but also with the families as well. Above all else, I would ensure that my priority is to provide a quality duty of care for the children, ensuring that at all times they are safe, healthy and happy! I have a valid - Working with Children Check - National Police History Check - Supervisor Certificate in Childcare - First Aid in Education - Asthma and Anaphylaxis - Food Safety Certificate. Please don't hesitate to call me if you would like to know more about me, I would love to speak with you! Dionne

Hi, I am a fit, healthy and active recently retired primary school principal. I have over 40 years experience in the education and care of children aged 0-12 years with special expertise in literacy education, play-based learning and early literacy. Edit: available this Fri OR Sat evening and one week-day after 9am. (Generally minimum 4/5 hours). I'm Renee, looking for one or two days a week. Prefer North of River depending on traffic/times. Distance -travel depends on how long the job is, obviously has to be worth the time and travel. 🌸🌸Car is older two door hatchback -so just for getting me there and back rather than driving children around (odd occasion may be ok). -(Babysitting experience - -20+yrs exp babysitting. - Exp as Relief staff in childcare. All rooms. ~ Experience with autism. - experience in afterschool care for various families. ~ Experience working in disabilities, mostly intellectual, disabilities (group homes) and one on one. - experience driving two girls to the park ect -- (family provided me car). - Cert III Childcare - Cert III Mental Health - babysitting mostly ages 9mths plus. References: can provide after meet-up (for ongoing positions with a fair amount of hours) (as with the nature of babysitting I can be picking up new families often) & wouldn't be fair to always be asking this of families I know; they are busy working families. :) - My First Aid + asthma anaphylaxis is expired (at this point). ~~~ Most of my babysitting has come from parents passing my number on. ~Anything else just ask. Thanks so much. :) Renee

Looking for: Casual Babysitting

Hello! I’m Annise, I’m from England and I’ve just arrived in Perth on my second working holiday visa. I absolutely adore working with children and I’m hoping to help out with your lovely little ones! I graduated nearly 2 years ago from university with a degree in British Sign Language and Educational Linguistics and am one day hoping to use it to work with children with communication difficulties. For now, I’d love to gain experience working with children in a more intimate way like nannying or babysitting. I think it’s the best way to learn about how children express their needs and learn to communicate. I’ve been babysitting since I was 13, have worked in nurseries as a nursery assistant and an outdoor early learning centre as a childminder. I also flew over to Tanzania for 4 weeks volunteering in a deaf school which was incredible! I have recently accepted a job in hospitality so would most likely be working a lot of weekend evenings (I haven’t got an permanent roster) but if there’s certain weekdays/weeknights that you would like to agree on for regular work then I can definitely let my job know that I need them off. I am pretty much up to any tasks or roles you’d want me to fulfil including housekeeping, cooking and doing errands. I’m really friendly and outgoing, and a lot of fun! I’d be happy to take your children on fun outings, swimming, to the beach, parks, libraries, anything! I’m also super crafty and artsy and love painting/drawing/collaging (anything crafty!) with kids. I love seeing them express themselves and it’s a really calming way for them to focus and be creative. If I seem like I would be a good match do you and your family please get in touch! :)

Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

Hi! My name is Lucy and I am 19 years old. I am returning to Australia after spending a year abroad in the UK working as an au pair. I worked with 3 children, aged 1, 5 and 7. All my needed checks are currently expired but I will be renewing them as soon as I return to Australia. My role in my au pair family was a live in position so I was heavily involved with many aspects of the childrens lives. I did breakfast and packed lunched for all 3 in the morning, followed by school drop off for the older children and then returning to be with the youngest child. I was responsible for organising activities for all 3 children, as well as nap time for the youngest and assisting the mother with cooking and bedtime for the 3 children. I have 2 young siblings at home, of which I was very involved with helping my parents. They are 2 and 4 now and I will be assisting at home with them too. While I was in high school I was working as a gymnastics coach for 2 years in Leederville with children aged 3-12.

Hi, thanks for visiting my page. 😊 You can count on me to be reliable, responsible and honest when caring for your children. My maturity, both in age and experience has given me an appreciation and understanding for working in various family situations and I will be respectful of your family and its values. For the past ten years, I have been working in a Pre Primary class for a wonderful school on Mondays & Tuesdays and I love it. I enjoy helping children get creative with craft, and have a wide variety of fun ideas and activities for inside play and for exploring outdoors. I often bring along books or puzzles as well to keep children entertained. I like to find out what children are interested in and tailor activities to suit, but I also like to stretch their minds a little with new experiences. My friendly, interactive approach gives your children 100% of my attention and helps them feel really listened to, valued and supported. The comment I have received the most from the children I care for is that 'I am KIND'...which makes my heart smile! If you would like any more information or want to have a chat, please send me a message & I will be in touch... generally in the evening. ***Please note, I am usually available for casual babysitting on weekends too. Thank you, Cindi 🌻 (ps- I have parents who are happy to provide a reference for me)

Hi, my name is Alison. I'm responsible, tidy, organised, honest, patient, and fun, with great communication skills. I spent most of 2022 helping my sister with her kids after she received double for her money - suprise, twins! - and became a mum of 3 kids under 2 years old. I spent 50+ hours with her kids each week so I have lots of experience caring for 0-3 year olds. And the bonus of experience with twins. Since then, I have worked as a babysitter and nanny for all of 2023, and I have recently started studying Early Childhood Education as well. I get a great sense of satisfaction from providing parents with a bit of relief from the hard slog of 24/7 parenting. You love your kids to bits, but sometimes you just need a break and somebody else to do the dishes or change those nappies - I understand! I'm here to help. Thanks for considering me and for any opportunities you send my way.
