Hi! I'm Savannah, a first-year psychology student at Deakin University. I like to think of myself as a friendly, bubbly and caring person, who likes to throw themselves into everything. I do and always have held myself to a very high standard of work in my studies, in my part-time jobs and all other areas of my life. I love being around children and caring for them. As an older sister and the oldest cousin in a family with a gang of littlies, I'd like to think I've been given a fair amount of training in what it takes to provide loving and protective care alongside creating a space of laughter and play. If you entrusted me with your kids I'd promise to do everything in my power to create that kind of space for them too. I've looked after a 3 and 5 year old after school for a little under a year when I was in high school and a 1 and 4 year old this year, so know the balance and skills required to ensure everything runs happily and smoothly.
One thing you should also know about me is that I'm always down for a chat about anything and everything. I love nature, movies, books, music (I attempt to play guitar), camping, sport (I've played soccer and watch f1), which are all areas of conversation and don't get me wrong, I can do dinosaurs, harry potter and barbie discussions happily too!
I'm more than happy to help around the house, cleaning, cooking, gardening etc, alongside caring for and playing with the kids. I think its worth mentioning I did well in my VCE studies, so if a family requires someone to give a little academic help I can provide that aswell in my stronger areas.
Ultimately a nanny is someone that can provide the hard and loving work a family need and hope you'll consider me as that someone for your family :)
